To ensure a safe and joyful skiing experience for your children, parents are kindly requested to read the following instructions carefully before registration. Through clear and structured arrangements, we hope to provide every child with a secure environment to experience the wonders of the snow.

Lesson Workflow and Important Notes

  1. Complete Understanding: Please carefully read the course content and registration guidelines. Ensure you have confirmed any additional needs such as accommodation, equipment rentals, or lift passes.
  2. Lessons and Add-ons: The fees cover the instruction only and do not include accommodation, lift passes, equipment rentals, insurance, or shuttle services. For any questions or to purchase additional services (such as accommodation, gear rental, or transfers), please use our online add-on system or contact us via our Official LINE, and our staff will assist you with your booking.
  3. Confirmation of Spot: Your spot in the course is only secured upon completion of the deposit payment. Verbal reservations or messages without payment will not be considered a successful registration.
  4. Pricing Currency: Course fees are priced in New Taiwan Dollars (NTD). We accept credit cards, bank transfers (Taiwan accounts), or cash payments in Japanese Yen.
  5. Instructor Request (Add-on) Fee: To request a specific instructor, an additional fee of NT$1,000 will be charged.
  6. Flexible Arrangements: The school will make every effort to accommodate requests. However, if weather, venue conditions, or unforeseen circumstances make it impossible for the requested instructor to teach, we will notify you immediately and arrange for another qualified instructor to ensure the lesson proceeds smoothly.

Portrait Rights and Media Usage

  • Media Usage: During the course, instructors may take photos or videos as learning records. These materials may be used for our school’s promotional or educational purposes (such as our website, social media, etc.).
  • Right to Opt-Out: If you do not wish for your image to be used for promotional purposes, please inform our customer service or your instructor before the lesson starts. We will fully respect your preference and refrain from using your images.

Instructional Arrangements and Class Placement Principles

  • Instructor-Student Ratio: To ensure instructional quality and student safety, the maximum instructor-to-student ratio is 1:6. For the best learning quality, a 1-on-2 or 1-on-4 ratio is highly recommended.
  • Level-Based Grouping: It is recommended that students in the same class have similar skill levels. If there is a significant difference in ability, the instructor will prioritize guidance for the student who learns at a slower pace or requires more assistance.
  • Customization: If you have specific learning goals or techniques you wish to improve (e.g., advanced skills such as carving, park, or tree runs), please inform us before the lesson. Our instructors will be happy to tailor the course content to your needs.
  • Family Groups: To prioritize safety and learning efficiency, we typically recommend separate lessons for families (adults and children). This allows children to adapt more quickly and fosters independent learning. If you have specific needs and prefer a combined class, please discuss this with our customer service in advance, and we will do our best to arrange the most suitable instructional approach.

Course Regulations and Safety Guidelines

  1. Punctuality: Please ensure you arrive at the meeting point on time. If lesson time is shortened due to personal reasons (e.g., lateness, delays in renting equipment), no make-up lessons or refunds will be provided. Lateness of more than 30 minutes will be treated as a no-show, with no extension of time or refund.
  2. Weather Impact: Unless the ski resort announces a full closure or there are government-issued restrictions, lessons will proceed as scheduled regardless of ordinary heavy snowfall.
  3. Non-Closure Situations: If the resort remains open but instruction is limited due to partial lift closures or poor weather, the lesson will proceed as scheduled and no refunds will be issued.
  4. Follow Instructions: Please strictly follow the instructor's guidance during the lesson. In the event of dangerous behavior or failure to comply with instructions, the instructor reserves the right to suspend the lesson immediately to ensure everyone's safety, and no refund will be provided.
  5. Safety Gear: Helmets must be worn at all times during the lesson. Students without helmets will not be permitted to participate, and no refunds will be issued. We also strongly recommend using protective gear such as knee pads, hip pads, and wrist guards.
  6. Valuables and Belongings: Please avoid bringing valuables to the ski resort. You are responsible for the safekeeping of your personal belongings; the school will not be held liable for any loss or theft.
  7. Personal Equipment: Course fees do not include lift passes or equipment rentals. Students must prepare their own gear and complete dressing and lift pass purchases before the designated meeting time. Any lesson delays caused by preparation issues are not the responsibility of the school.
  8. Family skiing/snowboarding is a sport that requires high levels of concentration and safety supervision. In particular, safety during boarding, disembarking, and while riding the lift is our top priority.

Safety and Health Risk Disclosure

  1. Risk Acknowledgement: Skiing and snowboarding are high-risk activities. Students must wear appropriate gear and protective equipment, and comply with the safety regulations set by the instructor and the resort. The school and instructors bear no responsibility for accidents resulting from leaving the group without permission or violating safety rules.
  2. Insurance Recommendation: Students must purchase their own travel insurance that covers risks associated with skiing and snowboarding activities (including injury, illness, emergency rescue, etc.). To protect yourself, we strongly recommend purchasing additional Travel Accident Insurance or specialized Ski/Snowboard Sports Insurance.
  3. Health Disclosure: Before booking, students must ensure they are in proper physical condition for skiing or snowboarding. If you are pregnant or have any other health concerns, you must proactively inform us at the time of booking or before the lesson begins. The school will not be held liable for any consequences arising from a failure to disclose such information. If this leads to a lesson cancellation, no refund will be issued.

Course Modification and Cancellation Policy

  • Procedure: To cancel or reschedule a lesson, please follow the procedures outlined in our Cancellation Policy or provided via our official LINE account.
  • No-Show Policy: If you fail to show up within 30 minutes of the scheduled start time without prior notice, it will be considered a voluntary forfeiture of the lesson. In such cases, no refund will be issued to protect the instructor's scheduling rights.
  • Resort Closure: If the scheduled ski resort or government authorities announce a full closure, the affected lessons will be eligible for a full refund.
  • Weather Factors: If a lesson is canceled solely due to poor weather or partial lift closures (while the resort remains operational), no refund will be issued.
  • Student Injury or Illness: If a student sustains an injury before the lesson begins and can provide medical certification, the school can assist in rescheduling the lesson within the same ski season or deferring it to the following season. However, no refunds will be provided.

To ensure a safe and joyful skiing experience for your children, parents are kindly requested to read the following instructions carefully before registration. Through clear and structured arrangements, we hope to provide every child with a secure environment to experience the wonders of the snow.

Arrangements for Family and Children's Lessons: Skiing and snowboarding are sports that require high levels of concentration and coordination. Safety, particularly during boarding, disembarking, and while riding the lift, is the most prioritized aspect of our course.

  • Under 4 Years Old: Currently, we do not offer lesson services for children under the age of 4.
  • Ages 4–7: We exclusively offer one-on-one private lessons to ensure the child's safety and focus with full-time instructor supervision. If the child has prior skiing experience and wishes to join a class with parents, please consult with our customer service in advance to evaluate suitability.
  • Ages 8–11: Children in this age group may take lessons together with parents; however, the course content will primarily focus on the child's progress. The instructor will flexibly adjust the arrangements based on the actual situation on-site. (Each instructor can supervise a maximum of two children.)
  • Ages 12 and Above: Treated as adult students and may participate in group lessons with other participants.

Family and Children's Lesson Information

  • It is recommended that adults and children attend classes separately. This will allow children to learn faster and also help them develop confidence in independent learning.
  • If parents wish to have their child in the same class, please contact our customer service in advance. The coach will need to understand the actual situation before providing practical advice, and adjustments may be made flexibly depending on the circumstances.
  • Children typically learn quickly, so parents are advised to focus on accompanying and encouraging them to help them build a sense of accomplishment in the process.
  • If your child has any special health conditions or needs, please be sure to inform us when registering. We will do our best to assist in making arrangements. If we fail to inform you in advance and this affects the safety of the course, the school reserves the right to suspend the class and will not refund the fee.

Clothing Recommendations

Clothing suggestions

We recommend the "onion layering" method (multi-layered insulation) so that you can adjust easily according to the weather and activity level. For the outermost layer, please ensure you wear waterproof and windproof snow jackets and pants. The mid-layer should consist of moisture-wicking clothing, while the base layer should be lightweight and warm. Since children tend to sweat quite a bit during skiing, wearing clothes that are too thick can cause overheating, discomfort, or even a cold due to dampness. We suggest parents prepare a set of clean clothes for them to change into after class.

Safety Equipment:

Safety is the most critical part of learning to ski or snowboard. Please ensure you prepare protective gear such as a helmet, knee pads, wrist guards, and padded shorts (butt pads) to reduce the impact of falls. We recommend choosing well-fitting and breathable equipment so that children remain comfortable during their activities.

Protective and warm items

Please use waterproof and breathable gloves. Children love playing with snow, building snowmen, or touching the snow, and waterproof gloves are essential to prevent frostbite and discomfort. You may also prepare hand warmers and tissues to help the child stay dry and warm during breaks. On sunny days, remember to apply sunscreen or provide lip balm to prevent skin dryness and cracking caused by high-altitude sunlight.

Energy replenishment

We recommend putting some small snacks (such as chocolate, cookies, or dried fruit) in their pockets for a quick energy boost during breaks. If your child has any food allergies or special dietary needs, please inform the instructor in advance so we can assist accordingly. Carrying a small bottle of water or a thermos to stay hydrated is also encouraged.

Friendly reminder

Your child's safety and smiles are what we cherish the most. Thank you for your trust and cooperation. We are honored to work with you to make skiing one of the most beautiful winter memories in your child's life.
