General FAQ
1. I see there are so many styles of snowshoes!
- Drawstring type: Convenient, but requires a bit more pulling force.
- 拉繩式: 方便,但拉力要大一點。
- Lace-up type: The boots usually look great, but tying the laces is extremely tiring.
- Velcro: It can easily lose adhesion and requires maintenance.
2. Can I practice skiing on my own after class? Can I borrow the equipment for one more day?
- There are no restrictions if you rent at the ski resort, and the usage time depends on the resort's regulations.
- If you handle your own equipment and transportation, you can practice on your own after class. However, please be aware of the temperature and snow in the afternoon and evening!
3. How long is the ski season?
- Hokkaido – Operations usually begin from late November to early December and continue until March or late April.
